Terms of Service

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Roduelz. They apply whenever you use roduelz.com or any Roduelz service. By creating an account or using Roduelz, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Roduelz.

Roduelz involves paying entry fees to compete for prizes. It is not free-to-play. Only play with money you can afford to lose.

2. Who we are

Roduelz is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS] ("Roduelz", "we", "us"). You can reach us at support@roduelz.com.

3. Roduelz is not part of Roblox

Roduelz is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. Roblox is a trademark of Roblox Corporation. We do not make the games played on Roduelz; they are existing Roblox games made by other developers. When you play, Roblox's own Terms of Use and each game's rules also apply to you, and you are responsible for following them.

4. Who can use Roduelz

To use Roduelz you must:

  • be at least 18 years old;
  • live in a place where taking part in paid skill competitions like Roduelz is legal for you. Roduelz is not available in [RESTRICTED COUNTRIES/STATES];
  • not have been banned from Roduelz before; and
  • be able to enter into a binding agreement.

It is your responsibility to check that using Roduelz is legal where you live. You must not use a VPN, proxy or other tool to hide your location or get around these restrictions. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will close the account. We may ask you to confirm your age or location, and we may refuse service where we cannot confirm eligibility.

5. Your account

  • You sign up with an email address and password, and you must confirm your email address.
  • You may have one account only. We use automated security checks to stop duplicate, fake and automated accounts, and we may refuse or close accounts that fail them.
  • Give accurate information and keep your email address up to date.
  • Keep your password secret. You are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us straight away at support@roduelz.com if you think someone else has accessed it.
  • You must not share, sell, transfer or lend your account, or let anyone else play for you.

Your display name is visible to opponents and on leaderboards. It must not be offensive, impersonate anyone, or include personal information.

To play, you link a Roblox account by temporarily placing a one-time code in your Roblox profile bio. We read your public Roblox profile to confirm the code, then store your Roblox user ID, username and account creation date. We will never ask for your Roblox password, security codes or cookies. Anyone who does is not us.

  • You may only link a Roblox account that you own and control.
  • Each Roblox account can be linked to only one Roduelz account, and each Roduelz account to only one Roblox account.
  • A linked Roblox account cannot be moved to another Roduelz account without staff approval.
  • Withdrawals and the sign-up credit require a Roblox account that is at least 1 year old.

7. How matches work

When you join the queue, we use skill-based matchmaking to pair you with an opponent. A game is then chosen from the games available to both players, and both of you join an assigned private server to play a 1v1 match. The verified result decides the winner. We do not publish the details of how matchmaking or our internal skill ratings work, and we may change them at any time to keep matches fair.

You must follow the match instructions and the game's rules. Because the games are made by other developers, we cannot control everything that happens inside a game or a server, including outages, bugs, lag or other players joining.

8. Credits, deposits and fees

  • What credits are. Credits are used to pay match entry fees on Roduelz. Deposits convert at $1 = 1 credit. Credits are not money, are not a bank deposit, do not earn interest and cannot be transferred to other users.
  • Deposits. You can deposit with cryptocurrency (credited automatically once the payment is confirmed on the network) or with Revolut, Wise or card (confirmed by our staff, usually within 1 to 4 hours). You must only use payment methods and wallets that belong to you. Network and processor fees may apply.
  • Entry fees and prizes. When you join a match, your entry fee is held until the match is settled. The winner receives the total pot minus our platform fee.
  • Platform fee. Our fee is currently 20% of the total pot. For example, if both players pay a $10 entry, the pot is $20, the winner receives $16 and Roduelz keeps $4. The fee may change, but the current rate is shown before you join a match. Part of the fee funds a reserve we use to refund players if a cheater is later confirmed.
  • Mistakes. If credits are added to your account by mistake (for example, a system error or a reversed payment), we may correct your balance.
  • Chargebacks. If you reverse or dispute a payment you made to us without good reason, we may suspend your account and recover the amount from your balance.

9. Sign-up credit and referral rewards

We may offer a sign-up credit (currently $10) and a referral reward (currently $5). These are promotional credits, and the amounts and conditions may change or end at any time.

  • Promotional credit can be used to play but cannot be withdrawn.
  • Promotional credit must be wagered (used in match entries) 3 times its value before any winnings from it unlock. Winnings that come from an opponent's promotional credit are also locked until wagered.
  • You need a confirmed email address and an eligible Roblox account to receive promotional credit.
  • A referral reward is paid only after the friend you referred confirms their email, makes a real deposit of at least $5 and completes a match. Referring your own other accounts, or people you play against to move money between you, is not allowed.
  • We may hold, refuse or reverse promotional credit, and any winnings from it, if it was obtained through multiple accounts, collusion or any other abuse.

10. Withdrawals

  • Before you can withdraw, you must have made a confirmed deposit of at least $5, completed any wagering requirements, and have a linked Roblox account that is at least 1 year old.
  • Withdrawals are made in steps of $10.
  • Available methods are cryptocurrency (such as BTC and LTC), Revolut and Wise.
  • Every withdrawal must be confirmed using a link we email to you. If it is not confirmed within 30 minutes, it is cancelled and the credits return to your balance.
  • Crypto withdrawals are usually sent automatically within minutes. Other methods usually take 24 to 48 hours. Some withdrawals are checked by our team before they are sent and can take longer.
  • Network and processor fees may apply.
  • Check your payout details carefully. If you give us a wrong address or account and the funds cannot be recovered, the loss is yours.
  • We may delay or refuse a withdrawal while we investigate suspected fraud, cheating, multiple accounts or a breach of these Terms, or where the law requires us to. We may ask for information to complete our checks.

11. Results, disputes and reviews

  • We decide each result from the best signal available, for example both players reporting the same result, or one player reporting and the other not responding within a short time.
  • If a match result cannot be verified, the match is marked inconclusive and the entry fees are refunded.
  • If you disagree with a result, you can file a dispute within 15 minutes of the result. You must attach your evidence (such as a YouTube or Streamable video link) when you file. Disputes without evidence may be rejected.
  • When a valid dispute is filed, the payout is paused and our staff review the case. Staff may allow 24 to 48 hours to collect evidence. Our staff's decision on a match is final, subject to an appeal under section 13.
  • If we confirm cheating or collusion, including after a match has been paid out, we may void the match, reverse payouts and any ranking changes, and recover the winnings from the cheater's balance. Where a confirmed cheater has taken a player's credits, we aim to refund the honest player from our reserve.

12. Fair play and prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • use cheats, exploits, scripts, macros or modified game clients;
  • create or use more than one account, or play on someone else's account;
  • collude with an opponent, fix matches or lose on purpose;
  • share, sell, buy or lend accounts, or let someone else play for you;
  • harass, threaten or abuse other players or our staff;
  • abuse bugs or errors in Roduelz or in a game instead of reporting them;
  • make fraudulent payments or chargebacks, or use payment methods that are not yours;
  • use a VPN, proxy or similar tool to get around our restrictions;
  • file false reports or disputes, or submit fake evidence; or
  • interfere with, attack or try to get unauthorised access to Roduelz or other users' accounts.

13. Suspension, closing accounts and appeals

  • If we believe you have broken these Terms, we may warn you, restrict features, hold your balance while we investigate, void matches, reverse winnings, or suspend or close your account.
  • Our systems flag suspicious activity, but a person reviews it before we suspend an account. We do not ban players based on automated signals alone.
  • If your account is closed for cheating, fraud or multiple accounts, we may keep credits that came from that activity, as far as the law allows. Any remaining deposited funds and genuine winnings will be handled in line with the law and our withdrawal rules.
  • To appeal a decision, email support@roduelz.com with your username and an explanation.
  • You can ask us to close your account at any time by emailing support. Withdraw any withdrawable balance first. Promotional credit ends when the account is closed.

14. Third-party games and services

Roduelz relies on services we do not control, including Roblox, the third-party games, and payment providers. Their terms apply when you use them. We are not responsible for their actions, outages or changes, for example a game being changed or removed, or Roblox being unavailable. We may remove a game from Roduelz at any time.

15. Our content and your content

The Roduelz name, website, design and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use the site only as these Terms allow. Game names and images belong to their owners.

When you send us reports, evidence or other material, you allow us to store and use it to run Roduelz, review matches and enforce these Terms. Only send material you have the right to share.

16. Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your winnings in the place where you live.

17. Service availability and disclaimers

We work hard to keep Roduelz running and fair, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or uninterrupted, or that you will win. We may pause matchmaking, games, deposits or withdrawals when needed, for example for maintenance, security or an incident.

18. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost opportunities, or for losses caused by Roblox, third-party games, payment networks or other services we do not control; and
  • our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the platform fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and (b) the withdrawable balance in your account.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing affects your rights as a consumer that cannot be waived.

19. Your responsibility to us

If you break these Terms or the law while using Roduelz, and this causes us a loss or a claim from someone else, you agree to cover that loss to the extent the law allows.

20. Changes to Roduelz and to these Terms

We may change Roduelz, its features, fees and promotions, and these Terms. If we make an important change to these Terms, we will tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. If you keep using Roduelz after a change takes effect, the new Terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using Roduelz and you can close your account.

21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW / COUNTRY]. Please contact us first so we can try to solve any problem informally. If we cannot, disputes will be handled by the courts of [GOVERNING LAW / COUNTRY], unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
